An outstanding history and heritage

A unique archaeological site 50 metres from the hotel. Over 30 years of searches and restoration have brought a number of remains of ancient Geneva to light, which have survived despite the fact that the site has been occupied for over 2000 years.
From the 10th of October to the 21st of December 2014. Geneva is hosting for the first time in Switzerland 250 authentic artefacts carefully restored, after being brought to the surface from the wreck of the Titanic.
Just a few metres from the Armures, Maison Tavel is a historic house that is thought to be the oldest private residence in Geneva. Maison Tavel is now a museum and a reminder of medieval vie and architecture in Geneva’s Old Town.
